On 16th January 2024 W.Bro. Brough Skingley of Greville Lodge received his 50-year certificate at Greville Lodge regular meeting. Brough was initiated into Industria Lodge No. 5214 meeting at Slough in the Province of Buckinghamshire and joined Greville when he moved to Warwickshire in 2010. Given Brough’s long connection with Buckinghamshire, the Lodge was delighted to welcome as a guest W.Bro. Matt Perkins, one of Buckinghamshire’s Assistant Provincial Grand Masters (and also a Warwickshire mason).
The meeting was presided over by the Deputy Provincial Grand Master, VWBro. David Butcher who, having talked with Brough about his life, invited Matt to jointly present the certificate with him, to acknowledge Brough’s long commitment to both Provinces. The meeting was followed with an enjoyable festive board where Brough’s 50 years was celebrated.
